About Me

I have a great passion for designing and learning more about my field. Since I was about 10 years old, I’ve had an interest in designing and that’s what led me to this field. I’d spend hours and hours building elaborate theme parks in Rollercoaster Tycoon, and was an avid gamer as well. When I entered my 11th grade year of high-school I joined my school’s AutoCAD Drafting program I learned how to freehand draw, and how to render house and building layouts in 2D AutoCAD. After high school I spent about 2 years under an Architect honing my skills, and now I’m in college working on my AA degree in drafting, and also working full-time as an AutoCAD draftsman for a company called Coastal Screen & Rail, where I prepare AutoCAD drawings of Screen Enclosures, Trellis layouts, and stair rail layouts, in addition to using Excel to estimate the cost of said layouts. I also manage all of our advertising, including Facebook and Instagram advertising, as well as Google AdWords.

As an AutoCAD Designer at Coastal Screen & Rail:
render screen enclosure layouts using AutoCAD
render screen enclosures in isometric 3D using AutoCAD
provide cost estimate jobs and prepare estimates based off my design
Produced detailed blueprints for field team to use on job site
Work with company engineer to verify design meets compliance regulations
Knowledge of local zoning and city requirements for construction
Create detailed cut sheets and foam layouts in AutoCAD for balcony railings and yard fencing
Illustrate connection details between members

Ever since I came to know AutoCAD and drafting, I’ve spent a good amount of my leisure times learning and practicing. With experience in my field, I maintain a healthy balance between functionality and visual impact in all my work. I believe every piece of design can be a work of art. I love my work and enjoy each new project when I get it. Feel free to look at my portfolio and don’t hesitate to contact me if I can be of service to you.

I’m not just an AutoCAD designer and draftsman but also a public speaker. I consider myself to be extremely fortunate, because my ‘job’, such as it is, simply entails doing what I love. Throughout my life I have looked for the magic and humor in every minute. When I’m not in front of my computer designing, you’ll find me in front of my computer, practicing my skills in one of several industry standard programs.

I’m always open to exciting new job opportunities, with my Curriculum Vitae available on request. Please get in touch, it would be great to hear from you.

I love to travel, and I love my job!
